I LOVE this family owned restaurant! It has always been my go-to place over the last 20 or so years and still today. Consistent good quality food, and great service! Yoko is the sweetest lady, and I love going in and seeing old acquaintances - different people from all over the community in there from time to time when I dine in. It’s always great to run into a former mayor or a teacher of my daughter. Just a little gem in South Tampa.

Randomly stopped by for a late lunch when passing through the area and was so glad we tried this spot! The food was so good and the bao buns were the best I’ve had in Tampa. Ramen didn’t stand out much but was still decent and everything in the bento box was amazing. Will definitely be back next time I want Japanese food!

The Bento box is a well-crafted selection, beautifully presented with an appetizing assortment of items that provide an excellent combination of taste and texture. This review is long overdue. Yoko’s is fantastic for truly authentic Japanese food in a great atmosphere. We are always welcomed with warmth, and in the 15 years we’ve been regulars, have never had a bad meal. The staff wear kimonos in the evenings, and everybody is so kind. Yoko, a native of Okinawa, is often present and is a really lovely person. Particularly delicious menu items are Hatashimono and Yoko’s edamame, and we appreciate that we aren’t charged a fortune for a good bottle of wine. Five stars all the way around!
YoKo's is celebrating 30 years!! Congratulations to Yoko and all of the staff. We have always had excellent food and service here. The atmosphere is contemporary Japanese and very relaxed. Yoko herself is usually on site making sure that everyone is well cared for. This is a big local favorite and I bet it will become one of yours as well.
Yoko’s is authentic Japanese food and the best you can find in Tampa! Amazing owners and staff! The chefs are very creative and will accommodate any requests and discerning palate!! I have been a loyal customer for years and have not found any other sushi that matches the quality or taste of the dishes and rolls at Yoko’s.
This has been my favorite sushi restaurant for years in South Tampa!! Great location, food and prices! With fresh tuna daily, the tuna nachos and tuna dragon are my favorite!! Must try!
